Weekly Checks on Your Vehicle

To ensure your newly leased vehicle achieves its optimum performance, fuel efficiency and safety, you should try to create a weekly routine of checking these three key areas.

Tyre Pressure

Make sure you know what the recommended PSI should be for your vehicle and then check the pressure weekly, so that it stays at this level. If the tyre pressure is too low, this causes more drag, which leads to higher fuel consumption.

Tyre Tread

This is hugely important for safety, you should always check the tread of the tyre and ensure it at least meets the minimum requirements. You should also look to see if your tyres are wearing evenly and, if not, get the tracking checked. Finally, check the tyres for any nails or other damage which could be causing you a slow puncture.

Clean Your Vehicle

You may think that washing your vehicle's exterior and cleaning the inside, is purely for cosmetic purposes. However, this is far from the truth. Allowing pollen and dust to build up can block your air filter or damage electronics. So clean your vehicle weekly if possible.

We hope, with these tips, your car will be running at 100% performance and safety. Are there any more tips you would like to share with us?
