Like many Brits, I do love a trip to the pub.
There are some great Fullers brewery pubs in my neck of the woods, and a post-work pint or a stop off during a cycle ride is hard to beat.
Of course, in recent weeks, it's also been completely impossible.
And while I'm not sure I'll be heading back to the pub on the 4th, there's no doubt that I'll be heading into one at some point next month.
I'm anticipating a very different experience, with hand sanitiser, table service, Perspex screens and all sorts of other safety measures, but if that's what it takes to get a crucial part of our economy open, then so be it.
This pandemic has taught us all that adapting to new situations is absolutely vital, and for those running fleets, adapting to the post lockdown way of doing things is going to be crucial.
The workload is likely to increase; with the complexity of dealing with the MOT and service backlog adding to a change in behaviour, with more remote working and more desire for more energy efficient cars.
And if managing a fleet is just part of your job, you might be wondering how you're going to find time for all that extra work.
My suggestion? You don't have to.
We swear by ODO Fleet Management software, for the simple reason that it saves the average fleet six weeks of admin time every year, all for an investment of just £8 per vehicle per month (less for Grey fleet vehicles).
And if you're interested in discovering how it does that, and whether it could be for you, then I'd love you to join me on a short live Zoom demonstration on June 30th at TIME.
You won't need to say anything, you don't even have to turn your camera on, and over 15-20 minutes I'll demonstrate exactly what the software does, and why so many fleet managers swear by it.
Would you like to win six weeks back every year?
If so, then at the very least come and join me on the demo – you'll get complete clarity on whether or not it's for you, so you've got nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
