Honda UK has revealed the new-look Honda Jazz ahead of the Frankfurt motor show next month. Along with updates to the exterior styling and interior trim, the refreshed Jazz will – for the first time in Europe – also be available with a 130ps 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine.
Enhancements to the exterior are now in keeping with the latest Honda family style, adopting a new 'solid wing face' headlight and grille. A new, angular front bumper displays more aggressive contours around the air intake vents.
Honda's 130ps petrol engine combines good performance with sippy fuel consumption and is Euro6 compliant. When paired with the optional CVT 'auto gearbox', it is said to achieve 52.3 mpg and CO2 emissions of 124 g/km. The CVT system has been re-mapped to deliver a more linear and refined response under acceleration.
The 130ps petrol engine will available only on the new, top-spec 'Dynamic' trim grade when the refreshed, Brit-built Honda Jazz becomes available to order in November. First customer deliveries expected in late January, 2018.
