What does EV, BEV, PHEV mean?!
2020 was a bit of a shocker, for obvious reasons.
But there was one serious silver lining – carbon emissions fell to record lows, and people started to realise that there is another way to live; one less reliant on fossil fuels.
Governments all over the world are looking to capitalise on that momentum in 2021 and beyond, phasing out of petrol and diesel vehicles, and encouraging people to start using electric instead.
But, let's be honest – the world of electric vehicles feels very different to what we all know, and if you've ever read a car spec for an electric car or van, you'll know that it's chockfull of abbreviations and acronyms, many of which you might not have a clue about.
Whether it's Ev, Bev or Phev; CCS, CPM or DSO, combinations of letters we don't understand are rife in the electric car world.
With that in mind, we've put together a video to bust some of that jargon, and share with you the various different types of electric vehicles, giving you complete clarity when it comes to what you should be looking for.
