what is it?
Personal Contract Purchase is ideal for Private Individuals who require the flexibility of owning a vehicle, or handing it back at the end of the lease. As with PersonalContract Hire you take on a vehicle for a fixed period of time, and at the end of the fixed term, you have two options. These are to either hand the vehicle back to the leasing company, or to purchase the vehicle for an amount that is guaranteed at the start of the agreement. There is no residual value risk, and no hassle of disposal should you choose to hand the vehicle back. Additional features such as fixed cost vehicle maintenance can be included.
how does it work?
The process for leasing a vehicle on Personal Contract Purchase is simple. First decide on the make/model of vehicle(s) required. Then decide on the term of agreement (usually 2 to 5 years), and estimate the mileage you expect the vehicle to travel over the duration of contract. Build in optional vehicle maintenance and we'll then provide a fixed monthly payment which will remain unaffected by changes to residual values or interest rates.
