what is it?
Finance Lease is popular with Corporate Fleet and Business Users who do not require the mileage restrictions associated with agreements such as Contract Hire. It is equally popular with clients who are concerned about heavy wear & tear, such as those operating Commercial Vehicles. With Finance Lease, you enter into a fixed term agreement, and then at the end of the primary term you continue to lease, or sell the vehicle on to a third party. You retain any profit (less a small percentage), but equally assume responsibility for any shortfall.
how does it work?
The process for leasing a vehicle on Finance Lease is simple. First decide on the make/model of vehicle(s) required. Then decide on the term of agreement (usually 2 to 5 years). Think about whether you require a 'residual value' and if so what the annual mileage might be. We'll then provide a fixed monthly Finance Lease rental which will remain unaffected by changes to interest rates. At the end of the term, either continue leasing the vehicle or sell it on.
