Taking Your Vehicle Abroad
Should you wish to take the Vehicle abroad at any time throughout your lease agreement, you will normally need a ‘Vehicle on Hire’ certificate. These are normally issued by our underwriting provider, the details of which will be with your original lease agreement.
However, should you have any doubt as to whom to contact, then please call our Customer Services team on 0800 043 2050.The following details need to be included in your request:
- The full name(s) and home address of all those who will be driving the vehicle
- Your vehicle make, model and registration number.
- Your intended departure and return dates.
- The countries you will be visiting whilst abroad.
Please Note: You should try and arrange your Vehicle on Hire certificate at least 14 days before you intend to travel to allow sufficient time for it to reach you. If you do not obtain all necessary documentation prior to your journey may result in your vehicle being impounded by HM Customs & Excise.
